The Sleep Kit is specifically designed for adults who have been suffering from insomnia and who want to sleep well.

By understanding the simple science of sleep helps you to discover the missing piece of the puzzle for you — What you need to do in order to sleep well again.

  • Informational Podcasts to help you find the missing pieces of your sleep puzzle.
  • Sleep Confidence Exercises for those of you who have lost confidence about being able to sleep.
  • Relaxation Processes to help you relax when you go to bed.
  • Recorded Relaxing Bedtime Stories to calm your busy mind.

The Sleep Kit still exists but I now longer sell the whole kit on line. It is only available to people who work 1 on 1 with me.

However what is available are parts of the Kit………”STORYTIME” and “CALM”.

Storytime is a bedtime story to help your mind slow down in order for you to sleep well and experience deeper sleep.

There are two different Storytime depending on what you prefer to listen to. For this process to work I have found that a simple children’s story works best. Storytime 1 is The Secret Garden by Francis Hodgson Burnett and Storytime 2 is a collection of short stories by wonderful writers such as Oscar Wilde.

Calm is a 30 minute guided relaxation to help you build this skill of deep relaxation.

In the Sleep Kit are podcasts, relaxation processes and sleep confidence exercises.

There are twelve podcasts (plus an additional optional extra). The podcasts range in length between four and eight minutes. I have purposely kept them short enough so that you will get all the information you need in bite size pieces. The purpose of the podcasts is to help you explore and discover the missing piece of your sleep puzzle so that you too can discover what it is you need to do in order to sleep well.

For those who prefer to read information rather than listen to it I have included the podcasts in written format as well.

An essential part of this process is to associate bed with relaxation, peacefulness, comfort and sleep.

Most people who have been suffering from insomnia have a negative association of bed with not being able to sleep and all the frustration that that brings. These sleep confidence exercises help you change that.

By practicing these exercises you will re train your mind to think of your bed and sleeping in a different way.

If you ask someone to think of something that makes them smile and feel good they might tell you that just by thinking about a certain time in their life or their pet or their child or grandchild immediately brings a smile to their face….In the same way by doing these exercises Dr Caroline helps you to associate bed with comfort and calm

In order to sleep you need to feel relaxed and calm.Relaxation is a skill which improves with practice. By listening to relaxation processes during your day and/or when you go to bed at night helps you to prepare your body and mind to sleep.

When was the last time you had a decent night’s sleep?
Can you recall when you last slept through the night and woke up feeling rested and refreshed?

Finding it hard to remember?

Maybe you fall asleep only to wake up a few hours later and then spend the rest of the night watching the hours tick by….

Maybe you’ve never learned to sleep well?
Or maybe you’ve become so caught up in the stresses of everyday life that you’ve simply forgotten how….

Do you crawl into bed at night feeling exhausted and desperate for sleep…and crawl out next morning feeling much the same!

What if there were a few simple steps you could take that would put you on the path to a decent night’s sleep?

Do you lie there awake waiting for sleep to “happen” to you?
Do you pull up the covers at night hoping the problem will miraculously “fix” itself?

Sleep is essential for good health and well being yet it is often the first thing that is sacrificed in our busy lives.
We allocate limited time for sleep then seem to spend more frustrating time trying to sleep than actually sleeping!
Getting a decent night’s sleep is a skill- a skill that can be easily learned.
What if you could retrain yourself quickly and simply?
How different would your life be just with those few extra hours of quality sleep each week?
The sleep kit is a series of simple short audio tracks designed by Dr Caroline MD.
This program will shift your focus back on where it needs to be:
How to sleep well rather than on sleeping badly.
It shows you how to increase the quality of your sleep so that you begin to feel the impact and notice results sooner.

Based on the latest research in the fields of Medicine, Mindfulness, Neuroscience and neurolinguistic programming this program has been developed to effectively retrain your mind and body to once again discover that perfect night’s sleep.

In this Sleep Kit you will learn:

What you need to differently in order to sleep well .
To associate your bed with calm and relaxation and restful sleep.
To move into the slower wave pattern of sleep.
To learn and practice the skill of good sleep.

“Dr Caroline’s medical background and expertise in the areas of sleep and NLP enabled me to drop a lot of anxieties about endless broken nights and disrupted sleep patterns and so be able to sleep again .
Her practical suggestions and friendly empathetic manner helped me to break old thinking patterns which were very self limiting . Most of the time I now sleep well and better than I have for years and when I have the occasional broken night I know what the reason is and don’t get so worried about it. I would highly recommend her work.“ Mary. Nelson. NZ.

Dr Caroline , an MD and NLP trainer weaves together neuroscience, mindfulness, neurolinguistic programming and medicine to help you to sleep well again and enjoy restful, restorative and healing sleep .
